Wilshire Certified as Great Place to Work
For the second year in a row, Wilshire is excited to announce their certification as a “Great Place to Work”
For the second consecutive year, Wilshire Health & Community Services has been honored by the Great Place to Work Institute with certification as a Great Place to Work. The certification process considered more than 150 employee surveys from across Wilshire Health’s locations throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
Wilshire Health & Community Services is a not-for-profit, mission driven healthcare organization providing Home Health, Hospice, and community-based services including Creative Mediation, conflict and dispute resolution, and a wide range of senior services such as transportation, counseling and friendly visits from Paso Robles on the north to Santa Ynez and Lompoc to the south.
Great Place to Work is an independent research and consulting firm that is a global authority on high-trust, high-performance workplace cultures. It evaluated 60 elements of Wilshire team members’ on the job experience. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, regardless of job function or management or non-management status.
